Titan Company Q2 FY27 Sees 25% Growth, Adds 78 Stores, Expands Retail Network to 3,758

Titan Company announced that its business for the quarter ended 30 September 2026 (Q2 FY27) is expected to grow approximately 25% year‑on‑year. The Tata Group’s jewellery and watches arm registered a healthy growth for the quarter, placing the company on investors’ radar. The firm added that a total of nearly 78 stores were added in the reporting quarter, expanding the combined retail network presence to 3,758 stores.

In the jewellery segment, across all brands, Titan clocked nearly 21% year‑on‑year growth for the quarter. Consumer demand was healthy for most of the quarterly period, with some softening towards the close owing to a shift in the festive calendar to Q3FY27. However, the investment‑led coins demand tapered (off a high base), resulting in a high single‑digit decline year‑on‑year for Titan. Buyer growth at a portfolio level came in mid‑single digits, with average ticket sizes seeing double‑digit growth in this period.

In Q2 FY27, the watch segment recorded an increase of 30% from the year. Continuing to ride on strong premiumisation trends, analog watches clocked healthy growth in the early thirties. The smartwatches business saw a recovery with encouraging high single‑digit growth for the quarter.

The eyecare division of Titan also delivered a strong performance with growth of nearly 28% year‑on‑year, driven by focused execution across key strategic priorities. In the emerging businesses portfolio, fragrances clocked mid‑thirties growth year‑on‑year. The women’s bags grew in the twenties, and Taneira’s growth was in high single digits year‑on‑year.

For the international segment, the jewellery businesses of Tanishq, Mia and CaratLane (combined) continued their strong double‑digit momentum in North America. The GCC business has held up well in a volatile geopolitical environment and recorded improving growths for Tanishq, with Damas showing early signs of recovery.

Titan Company reported a 63% jump in consolidated net profit at ₹1,777 crore for the first quarter of the current financial year (Q1 FY27) as compared to ₹1,091 crore in the same period last year. The company’s revenue from operations increased 29% year‑on‑year to ₹21,356 crore in the April‑June period from ₹16,523 crore in the year‑ago period. For Q1 FY27, the consolidated total income came in at ₹20,753 crores, rising 40%, marking a strong start to the fiscal year and sustaining the growth momentum carried over from an exceptional FY26.
