Asian Paints to Announce Q2 FY27 Results and Interim Dividend on 29 October

Asian Paints, the Mumbai‑headquartered paint manufacturer, will announce its second quarter of the financial year twenty‑six‑twenty‑seven on Thursday, twenty‑ninth October twenty‑twenty‑six. A board meeting on the same day will consider the approval of audited standalone financial results for the quarter and half‑year ended thirtieth September twenty‑six, unaudited consolidated results for the quarter and half‑year, and the declaration of an interim dividend for the year ending thirty‑first March twenty‑seven.

The company has closed its trading window since Friday, eighteenth September twenty‑six, to allow for the declaration of audited standalone and unaudited consolidated financial results for the quarter and half‑year ended thirtieth September twenty‑six. This window will remain closed through Monday, second November twenty‑six, both days inclusive, ensuring that the market is not exposed to price movements before the official release.

If an interim dividend is declared, the record date will be Wednesday, fourth November twenty‑six. Shareholders will receive the dividend on the payment date, which is typically a few days after the record date, subject to the company’s internal procedures and regulatory approvals. The board will also review the interim dividend proposal during the twenty‑ninth October meeting, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and shareholder interests.

On Wednesday, seventh October, the stock traded two point ten percent lower at two thousand three hundred seventy‑three rupees and forty paise per share on the NSE at twelve forty‑eight pm. Its market capitalisation stood at two hundred twenty‑seven thousand six hundred seventy‑five crore and ninety‑nine lakh rupees. The scrip has fallen one point twenty‑one percent over the past week, five point zero nine percent in the last month, and thirteen point seventy‑five percent year‑to‑date, reflecting a gradual decline from its fifty‑two‑week high of two thousand nine hundred eighty‑five rupees and seventy paise on fourth December twenty‑five to its low of two thousand one hundred fifteen rupees on twenty‑third March twenty‑six.

In the first quarter of FY twenty‑seven, Asian Paints reported a consolidated net profit after minority interest of one thousand five hundred thirty‑nine crore and thirty lakh rupees, up forty percent from one thousand one hundred ninety‑nine crore and eight lakh rupees in the same period last year. Consolidated net sales rose seventeen point nine percent to ten thousand five hundred twenty‑one crore and forty lakh rupees, compared with eight thousand nine hundred twenty‑four crore and fifty lakh rupees in the year‑ago period, indicating robust top‑line growth despite market volatility.
