Glass Wall Systems Shares Drop 6% as Q1 Profit Falls 7.7% to ₹17 Crore, Order Book ₹982 Crore

Glass Wall Systems (India) Ltd announced a consolidated profit after tax of ₹17 crore for the quarter ended June 2026, a decline of 7.7% from the ₹19 crore net profit recorded in the same period of the previous fiscal year. The company released these figures on Wednesday, October 7, following the announcement of its first‑quarter results for FY27. The decline in earnings was noted by market observers.

Shares of the facade manufacturer fell 6.27% to ₹258.25 at 2:30 pm on the National Stock Exchange. The stock had debuted on September 16 and has risen 41.89% from its IPO issue price of ₹182. The decline came after the company disclosed its Q1 FY27 financials, prompting a sell‑off among investors.

Revenue from operations grew 35.8% to ₹107 crore in FY27 Q1, up from ₹79 crore a year earlier. Domestic sales surged 93% to ₹62 crore, while international net sales fell 12% to ₹39 crore. The fenestration segment posted ₹6 crore in revenue, a 127% year‑on‑year increase, reflecting strong demand for premium window solutions.

EBITDA increased 9% to ₹23 crore from ₹21 crore, yet the margin slipped to 21.3% from 26.6%. As of July 2026, the company’s order book stood at ₹982 crore, indicating a healthy pipeline of future projects. These figures suggest that while profitability has dipped, the business retains substantial contractual commitments.

Eshan Hemrajani, Managing Director and CEO, said the Q1FY27 performance reflects the strength of its integrated facade solutions platform, combining design, engineering, manufacturing and project execution. He added that the firm will focus on disciplined execution of its robust pipeline, deepen customer relationships, expand international presence and strengthen value‑added manufacturing. The ₹427.89 crore IPO comprised a fresh ₹60 crore issuance and a ₹367.89 crore offer‑for‑sale by promoters Eshan Jawahar Hemrajani, Jawahar Hariram Hemrajani and investor India Business Excellence Fund IIA, subscribed 81.65 times.
