Revenue from operations rose 36.14% year‑on‑year to ₹7,571 crore, up from ₹5,561 crore in Q2 FY26. The company’s adjusted EBITDA loss stood at ₹760 crore, down ₹64 crore YoY today.

The platform’s average monthly transacting users grew 21% year‑on‑year to 27.8 million. Business‑to‑client gross order value increased 24.6% YoY to ₹20,793 crore. Quick‑commerce sales through Instamart saw GOV rise 31.4% YoY to ₹9,230 crore, while net order value surged 34.8% YoY to ₹6,594 crore. Instamart’s dark‑store footprint expanded 13.3% YoY to over 5.2 million square feet, adding 69 new stores for a total of 1,240 across 133 cities. This growth reflects the company’s focus on expanding its quick‑commerce network across urban centres and customers.

Food delivery business GOV grew 17.7% YoY to ₹10,054 crore, with adjusted EBITDA rising ₹101 crore YoY to ₹341 crore. The standalone affordability app Toing now operates in more than 50 cities, and two in three of its new users are either new to Swiggy or long‑term dormant. Swiggy maintained its guidance for the food delivery segment (excluding Toing) at 18‑20% growth. Out‑of‑home consumption saw a 34.9% YoY surge in GOV to ₹1,508 crore, while active restaurants increased 48% YoY to 66,000. The company also announced experiments with dining vouchers, in‑restaurant and in‑cinema ordering to drive future growth.

Management comments highlighted that the food delivery arm delivered its highest‑ever profits and margins, while new category growth is being unlocked through Toing. In quick commerce, the company achieved accelerated growth as guided and secured approvals to qualify as an Indian‑owned and controlled entity, marking a significant milestone amid the transition. Majety emphasised that differentiation will decide winners, with speed and selection becoming table stakes, and that assortment is a curation game rather than a volume game. The aim is to enable consumers to buy better, not just offer more.

Shares fell as much as 7.13% to a fresh 52‑week low of ₹207.70 on the National Stock Exchange on Thursday, 22 October, after the results were declared post‑market. Swiggy’s market capitalisation stood at ₹58,353.03 crore as of that date. The company’s letter to shareholders noted experiments with new offerings such as dining vouchers, in‑restaurant and in‑cinema ordering to fuel future growth. The management reiterated its focus on speed, selection and curation as key differentiators for the platform. The company’s guidance for the food delivery business (excluding Toing) remains unchanged at 18‑20% growth for the year.
