Supreme Industries Q2 FY27 Profit Surges 59% YoY to ₹262.44 Crore

Supreme Industries on Monday, October 26, announced its earnings for the July‑September quarter of the 2026‑27 financial year (Q2 FY27). The company reported a consolidated profit after tax (PAT) of ₹262.44 crore, reflecting a 59.3% year‑on‑year increase from ₹164.74 crore recorded in the same period of the preceding fiscal year. This jump follows a 40.4% rise in consolidated revenue from operations, which rose to ₹3,361.27 crore in Q2 FY27 from ₹2,393.87 crore in Q2 FY26.

Operating profit, measured as EBITDA, climbed 47.50% YoY to ₹460.61 crore in Q2 FY27, up from ₹312.27 crore in the September quarter of FY26. Sales volume advanced 19% YoY to 184,455 million tonnes (MT) in the second quarter of FY26, compared with 154,431 MT in the same period last year. The company highlighted that the operating environment in Q2 FY27 showed encouraging signs of stabilisation after the unusual volatility witnessed in polymer prices in the first quarter of the current fiscal year.

Chairman & Managing Director M. P. Taparia noted that government measures, including the implementation of Minimum Import Price (MIP) on Suspension Grade PVC Resin and withdrawal of customs duty exemption, had supported the market environment towards reduced volatility. He added that Supreme Industries’ plastic piping business has continued to strengthen its market leadership through an expanding portfolio of value‑added products, enhanced manufacturing capabilities, and deeper market penetration.

The successful integration of the former Wavin business and access to advanced technologies have enabled the firm to offer differentiated solutions for building and infrastructure applications. The company remains focused on increasing the share of value‑added products, including PERT piping systems, gas piping systems, electrofusion fittings, premium bath fittings, individual valves, and PP silent pipe systems.

The newly launched uPVC Windows & Doors business received encouraging acceptance in the marketplace, steadily expanding its dealer network and expected to emerge as an important growth driver in the building products segment over the next couple of years. The composite cylinder business has been witnessing gradual improvement in capacity utilisation, with procurement activities now initiated by all three Oil Marketing Companies, and the division continues to explore export markets and expand participation in CNG cascade applications.

The board of directors approved an interim dividend of ₹12 per equity share with a face value of ₹2 each, at 6%, for FY27, with the record date fixed for Friday, October 30, 2026. Supreme Industries has a total market capitalisation of ₹41,292.62 crore as of October 26, 2026, according to data on the NSE. Taparia stated that the firm expects to grow about 10% in volume for FY27, despite big degrowth in Q1 FY27, citing a diversified product portfolio, strong brand, extensive distribution network and continued focus on operational excellence as key drivers of sustainable long-term growth.
